John Romeo
John Romeo is the Partner and Head of Corporate Finance and Advisory within Oliver Wyman’s Financial Services unit. He has been with the firm for 14 years. Mr. Romeo has worked extensively on fund strategy, commercial due-diligence assignments, post-transaction assistance and portfolio company strategy with leading financial sponsors in North America, Europe and Asia across both banking and insurance markets.
His recent due-diligence projects have focused on business, technology and risk assessment, spanning payments, consumer finance, asset managers, insurance brokers, wholesale and mortgage banks and trading technology firms. In addition, he has worked on assignments for exchanges/clearing houses/CSDs, inter-dealer brokers, liquidity providers, pools and channels, post-trade processors and software administration firms.
He is a frequent keynote speaker on industry topics at international conferences and in the media.
Mr. Romeo holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.
