I view working in consulting as a continuous learning experience

Why Oliver Wyman?

The distinguishing factors to join Oliver Wyman, rather than another consulting firm, were the people and the challenges and opportunities.

Outside of client work

I’m involved with our employee resource group, WOW (Women at Oliver Wyman) and also was a founder of YOW (Young at OW) which is an interest group for junior staff to be more visible and contribute to the life of the Paris office. Through YOW, we felt we could do a better job of integrating our new recruits and generate more fun! In launching the group, we had some concern the Partners wouldn’t see the need for it. But, we were rapidly reassured when they unanimously backed our project after we presented the overall plan. With the support of our Partners, Office Head and Staffing Manager, we defined work streams and pilots and prioritized our actions. We coordinated informal get-togethers with Partners or senior management to exchange ideas and to get to know them better. We never lacked volunteers to organize after work events to reunite all office members--Consultants, Support Professionals and Partners.
