Many airlines are considering replacing older, less energy efficient aircraft with newer, more efficient models. There are a number of new innovations entering the market which promise improved fuel burn and other enhancements. At the same time there are major changes happening in the aftermarket dynamic between OEMs and MRO providers. This shifting dynamic must also be taken into account when making new fleet decisions.
